The founder and Director of Aquatis, JC (Jean-Christophe) Schrotter, is an internationally recognised water expert. Author of six granted patents, and over 100 publications and presentations on water treatment technologies and applications, JC Schrotter developed innovative and successful processes for drinking water, wastewater, industrial water and desalination applications across the world.
The former Global Research & Development Membrane Director for Veolia, world leading company in water treatment, led innovative research on water solutions and technologies, membrane pre-treatment and membrane concentrate management with his team based in Paris and recently in Sydney. His research and work helped with the design, operations and optimisation of a large number of full scale water treatment plants.
Now established in Australia, JC designed, commissioned and optimised several water and wastewater treatment plants across Australia, including Sydney Desalination Plant, Darling Quarter and Bingara Gorge Recycled Water Plant in NSW. His current key project involves optimisation of the Advanced Water Recycling plant at the Beenyup Facility in Craigie (WA).
As the Director of Aquatis, his mission is to leverage his in-depth broad technical experience to help municipal, commercial and industrial customers across Australia with the design, operations and maintenance of their membrane water and wastewater treatment plants.
