Water Corporation, principal supplier of water and wastewater services to over 2 million people in Western Australia, has selected Aquatis to conduct a technical review of the Groundwater Replenishment Trial (GWRT) at the Beenyup Facility in Craigie.
With this contract, Aquatis reviewed the 5 MLD Plant and implemented an action plan to improve its design and operation. This has enabled Water Corporation to optimise the design, construction and plant operations and maintenance for the 40 MLD plant that will be built in the future.
The study focuses on reducing energy consumption as well as operational costs. ‘I am particularly excited to be working with Water Corporation on the optimization of the Advanced Water Recycling Plant at Beenyup. This plant is a critical component of Western Australia’s leading-edge strategy in groundwater replenishment”, said Jean-Christophe Schrotter, Director and founder of Aquatis.
