Aquatis has been awarded a contract to upgrade commission and optimise an advanced Drinking Water Production plant and a Waste Water Treatment and Recycling plant at the Marina Village in New South Wales, Australia.

The Advanced Drinking water plant includes chemical dosing, settling, membrane based ultrafiltration system and chlorination.

The Waste water Treatment and Recycling Plant includes Screening, Membrane Bioreactor and UV disinfection.  Drawing wastewater from the existing sewer, the Waste Water Treatment and Recycling Plant will produce reclaimed water in line with the Environmental WICA licence. This will be used to irrigate open space in and around the Marina Village.

Reflecting its increasing capabilities in turnkey water and wastewater solutions, Aquatis has also been appointed to supervise all site installation associated with the project and to apply for the Drinking Water and Waste Water treatment and Recycling licenses.
