Trade Waste is any liquid, solid or gaseous refuse from any business, industry, warehouse or manufacturing premises other than domestic sewerage or unpolluted water. Water Utilities conditions for accepting your trade wastewater are explained in their trade wastewater permit. To comply with Water utilities requirements, you will need to install and maintain specific items of pre-treatment suited to your business activities. Pre-treatment is the term used to describe any items of equipment that you use on your site to treat trade wastewater before discharging it to the sewer.
